Local Food Systems The Urban Farm

Designed and implemented a diverse agricultural production and educational operation in Denver, Colorado, where I launched a new network of nonprofit partners and food pantries, distributing culturally relevant food via multiple channels, including a 50-person CSA, wholesale partnerships, and donation programs with community collaborators like Stedman Elementary School, Vive Wellness, Denver Food Rescue, and East Denver Food Hub.

Key Experience
Turning a neglected plot of “field debris” into a thriving biological and food producing site is not easy. I learned that I cannot force plants and perennial shrubs to survive in a desert climate, but instead invest time and energy in a biological engine, TUF’s worm casting system, that generates localized fertility and an enzymatic catalyst for your plants and soil biology to absorb environmental stress and thrive thereafter.
